Temporary pressure around wound constructions
The heat-shrink film or tape surrounds the construction and applies temporary inward pressure during the confirmed cure cycle.
Polyester Process Film / ATR-PET-HS
An oriented PET process film used to provide controlled temporary consolidation pressure during the confirmed curing process.

How It Works
The film is selected as part of the customer's complete winding, curing and removal process. Final shrink behavior and suitability must be confirmed under actual conditions.
The film or slit tape is applied around the construction in the confirmed winding format.
During the confirmed curing cycle, the oriented PET film shrinks in the machine direction.
Shrink tension provides temporary compaction around the wrapped construction during cure.
Where a release-coated format is selected, the process wrap can be removed after cooling and cure.
Typical Process Uses
Each illustration explains a different process role. It does not represent a universal construction or publish unconfirmed technical values.

The heat-shrink film or tape surrounds the construction and applies temporary inward pressure during the confirmed cure cycle.

A slit heat-shrink tape can follow a continuous helical path around a laminate to support consolidation during cure.

Standard or perforated formats are selected according to the required process route and must be validated with the complete resin system.

A confirmed release-coated construction supports removal after heat cure and cooling; it is a temporary process wrap rather than permanent electrical insulation.
Available Forms
Master rolls, pad rolls and multi-roll formats are supplied according to the confirmed width, core I.D., roll O.D. and roll length requirements.

What We Confirm
Technical Data
Technical values are provided only from the confirmed ATR-PET-HS TDS. The complete film, winding and cure system must be validated under actual processing conditions.
Request Technical DataRelated Applications
Temporary compaction around wound coil constructions during the validated cure cycle; not a claim of permanent electrical insulation.
Temporary consolidation of electronic composite constructions during curing, with shrinkage, venting and removal confirmed for the process.
