Mechanical reinforcement
The woven carrier supports robust bundling, holding and restraint.
ATR-GC-S SERIES · HIGH-TEMPERATURE REINFORCEMENT
Woven glass cloth with silicone pressure-sensitive adhesive for robust insulation, fixation and abrasion protection at elevated temperature.

01 · THE MATERIAL SYSTEM
ATR-GC-S combines the tensile and abrasion resistance of woven glass cloth with a silicone adhesive selected for elevated-temperature contact.
It is used where a thin film tape may not provide enough mechanical reinforcement. Geometry, edge loading, electrical duty and temperature exposure must be evaluated within the complete assembly.
02 · PERFORMANCE IN CONTEXT
The woven carrier supports robust bundling, holding and restraint.
Silicone PSA is selected for demanding electrical and thermal environments.
Glass cloth protects local interfaces exposed to rubbing or handling stress.
Limited stretch supports controlled placement and retained geometry.
The construction contributes insulation and securing within a validated system.
03 · APPLICATION DIRECTIONS
Representative tasks are drawn from the supplied product documentation. They identify the tape role without prescribing a universal customer construction.

Reinforces and insulates selected winding, lead and connection zones within the approved transformer construction.

Adds local restraint and abrasion-resistant insulation around selected end turns and winding regions.

Protects and bundles leads routed near heated equipment, subject to the actual thermal and electrical duty.

Holds insulation materials and shields selected surfaces during validated high-temperature assembly or processing.
Geometry, electrical duty, temperature and mechanical load must be confirmed within the actual assembly.
04 · TAPE CONSTRUCTION
Woven glass cloth provides the structural layer. Silicone PSA brings the reinforcement into stable contact in elevated-temperature environments.
Illustration is enlarged for identification and does not represent actual layer-thickness ratio.

05 · SELECTION CONTEXT
Material, finish, cleanliness and surface energy
Peak temperature, dwell time and repeated exposure
Flat face, edge, curve, winding or converted shape
Mask, insulate, secure, protect or reinforce
Remain in the assembly or remove after processing
Width, length, core, liner, geometry and packing
06 · SUPPLY & CONVERTING
Available as production-width master rolls and slit rolls. Width, length, core and packing are aligned with handling and assembly needs.
